Cave City Kentucky
We were able to meet Bob and Gigi at Catfish Cabin II in Athens, AL, and had a nice catfish lunch and a very nice but short visit. We had kicked around staying overnight in Madison, but, the weather forecast for tomorrow was for snow/freezing rain. We did not want to take the chance of being delayed, so we were back on the road in two hours. Was great seeing them again and we planned a visit for sometime in April. Will be much better weather by then. This way we can plan some activities like fishing ...
Well, when we left Dayton two weeks ago, we had to run directly south to avoid a snow storm coming east on I-40. Now we are making a run north to get away from a storm in the south. The weather looks good for the rest of the trip. Cold but no snow or rain.
We lose an hour tomorrow when we get to the eastern time zone, but, we should be in the Cincinnati area to visit Linda around noontime. Only 243 miles from home now.
