We left Corpus Christi early Sat. morning and traveled to San Antonio. We stopped to visit Rose for a few hours, went to lunch at a very nice Mexican place, then more visiting with Rose, Theresa, and of course the two dogs, Hope and Heidi. It was a nice visit, but too short, we had not been here in about two years.
Later, we checked into the Embassy Suites at the airport. Will be visiting Paul and Nancy today, then we plan on watching the Super Bowl later this afternoon.
Thanks to all those that sent us pictures of the snow ... Our timing for this trip was pretty good, I just hope we don't run into any bad weather on the way home.
We still plan to be headed east on I-10 tomorrow morning. Dependiing on how busy or tired we are, we will still try to post something daily if we have good Internet connections.
