The weather for the last two days (Wed and Thur) has been very rainy and a little on the cool side. The road to Premont was flooded with over a foot of water so we had and extra 30 miles or more for the daily commute, which became about 150 miles. We lost some time on the things we had planned to do outside on the antenna array, but, the rest of the testing went well. Everything was wrapped up today a little after noon, but, I won't get the data that I want to look at until tomorrow. So, we will stay here in Corpus Christi until Sat morning. Then I'm done with work for this trip, except for the travel back to Dayton.
We plan on traveling to San Antonio on Sat to visit my sister-in-law Rose and her family. We plan on staying there Sat and Sun night in the Embassy Suites at the San Antonio Airport so we can enjoy the Super Bowl in comfort. Then our plan is to travel east on I-10 towards New Orleans and spend a few days in the "warmth" of the south until the snow storms and nasty weather in the Dayton area is over. We still have to be home before the 15th for a bunch of medical appointments during that week.
I hope the above is coherent, because we just spent about three hours at the Manager's Reception (happy hours, free booze from 5:30 to 7:30 PM) here in the Embassy Suites. A very "Gould Castle" atmosphere! A great way to unwind after a long week.
