I haven't mentioned the weather, but, it is much better here than back in Dayton. By the time we got to Birmingham on Wednesday evening, it was in the high fifty's. On Thursday when we hit southern AL, MS and LA, it was in the mid-sixties, sunny, and was just great. We ran into a gully-washer rainstorm early on Friday morning just before we reached Houston. It cleared up about 30 miles from Houston and was pretty decent weather all the rest of the way. Sat. and Sun. were mid-fifties and rainy. Mon. and Tues. were about the same. We have downtime scheduled for some significant outside work on the antenna arrays, but, probably will not be able to do much this week as very heavy rains are predicted for the next two days. Friday may be a very nice day. The only thing I can say is it beats snow and ice.
This blog is a semi-official account of our jorneys and wanderings.
